In partnership with Logit, we conducted n=1,000 interviews among a representative sample of Canadian adults the week of January 18, 2021 and we asked two questions:
This suggests that to help support and drive recovery in the travel & tourism sector, provincial governments and regional tourism boards, along with those in the hospitality industry, should be focusing their marketing efforts within their respective province(s). Target those individuals and families who are looking to explore, but not too far from home. Consider offering free parking and other amenities tailored to a car trip adventure.
